Mexican diner food? Seriously? Yes! El Huevo is very good. Good variety. Freshly made. Very tasty. The chips and queso are great starters. I ordered grilled chicken fajitas - yes they have them but they weren't on the menu. Unlike the fajitas at Ted's the chicken was fresh and not greasy. The burritos were fresh, tasty and hot. Some of the best fajitas I have ever had!
We tried out El Huevo Mexi-Diner in Norman today. What a great spot to satisfy your craving for South of the border fair. Our party ordered enchiladas, burritos, and a extremely tasty dessert. Fantastic portion size for the price, excellent sides, super flavorful. Wow this place is awesome. The tres leches dessert was one of the best I've ever had. The wait staff was so helpful and knowledgeable. We can't wait for our next visit.
Wow! It's wild to think this place has been open for 5 years and I'm just not trying them! Shame on me lol I got here right at open, straight to the bar and immediately seated. Maybe 1 more table in the whole place. Maybe 10 people came in for the $5 burritos while I sat there so, I'll be back to try those. Service was fast and friendly as others have mentioned. I was greeted and shortly after received my large cup of coffee. The coffee was wonderful and needed very little cream/sugar in my opinion. Then the meal came... I ordered Huevos con Chorizo, and I couldn't find anything wrong with the meal! It was delicious, everything was seasoned and cooked perfectly, warm tortillas, plus they jazz up the sour cream and it was the best I've ever had. I only wish they were weren't so many beans, I loved them but it was a lot! Absolutely have to come try it if you're in the Moore/Norman area.
Excellent place to eat. Service was great extremely busy. Food was excellent especially the drinks. Nachos were served in a metal that was dumped on your plate, which is a unique experience. The adult drinks and iced coffees are exceptional and will come back even more so for the drinks.
Come for happy hour 3-6pm Wednesday through Saturday! We ordered all of this food and only spent $18! And we are completely stuffed! Great guacamole, and white queso! Once they realized we were just ordering appetizers, the waiter gave up on our table. He never came back to check our water or see if we needed anything. Good thing we were doing all right, but it would've been appreciated.
Taco'bout a yummy meal We came awhile back for a quick brunch with family and it did not disappoint! The atmosphere was fun and bright, coffee was great and the food was amazing! As I said before, we were here for a quick time so we were unable to really sit and enjoy but I can't wait to be back!
